Bishkek, Dec. 13, 2018. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz Embassy in Turkmenistan arranged a pavilion of Kyrgyzstan at the exhibition “The Legacy of the Great Silk Road” in Ashgabat, dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported for the purposes of popularizing the culture and tourist potential of the country, handicraft products, paintings, materials about the culture, history and nature of Kyrgyzstan, as well as photographs of historical and cultural monuments located in the republic along the Great Silk Road were displayed. At the same time, videos about Kyrgyzstan were shown.
In connection with the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Chyngyz Aitmatov this year, a separate corner of the Kyrgyz pavilion was dedicated to the world-famous writer, where his books were exhibited.
Visitors to the exhibition showed a lively interest in the pavilion of Kyrgyzstan, in particular, the books of Chyngyz Aitmatov.
