The hacker defaced the accounts, posted pro-LGBT messages, and put up rainbow flags and gay porn.

After the massacre at an Orlando gay nightclub that left 49 people killed, a hacktivist from Anonymous group hacked into Twitter accounts of ISIS supporters.

Known by the name of @WauchulaGhost on Twitter, the hacker defaced the accounts, posted pro-LGBT messages, and put up rainbow flags and gay porn.

The hacker has been active for quite some months in disfiguring and tampering with pro-ISIS accounts.

The hacker broke into Twitter accounts belonging to ISIS supporters after the gunman, Omar Mateen, pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State.

The 29-year-old Muslim born in New York made calls during the attack saying he was a supporter of the Islamic State. He also spoke about an affiliate of al-Qaida and Hezbollah, both of which are IS enemies.

"Ghost posted tweets from their account such as "I'm gay and I'm proud", "To The Families & Victims of #Orlando We Will Not Forget" and links to gay porn sites. He claimed to have defaced more than 200 Twitter accounts but many of them have been taken down by Twitter," says a Mashable report.

Omar Mateen, killed 49 people and injured more than 50 in the attack at a gay nightclub.

Also, the gunman apparently made a series of Facebook posts and searches before and during his attack on a gay nightclub, raging against the "filthy ways of the west" and blaming the US for the deaths of "innocent women and children," according to a Senate committee letter released on Wednesday.

The killer also searched for "Pulse Orlando" and "Shooting" online on the morning of the carnage on Sunday and said on Facebook: "America and Russia stop bombing the Islamic state," according to the letter.
